How I teach
I came to grief work the way many people do - through my own losses, and through watching the people I love navigate theirs. That led me to formal training in grief and bereavement coaching, and to the frameworks I now build every talk around: The Dual Process Model, Continuing Bonds, Neimeyer, Kessler, Megan Devine and many more.
What I bring to a room is warmth, careful preparation, and language people can actually use. You won’t hear jargon. You’ll hear plain talk about what grief really asks of us, grounded in real theory, delivered with respect for what your audience is already carrying. Every talk comes with a free take-home resource so the learning keeps going after I leave.
I’m building this practice in Boise with intention, and I’d be honored to be part of what you’re building too.

Founding audiences
Zola Grief and Bereavement Coaching is a new practice build with old care. I’m accepting a limited number of speaking engagements as I grow - which means every audience gets my full attention and a talk shaped just for them.
I’m also offering reduced founding-audience rates to the first several groups who book me, in exchange for a short testimonial and permission to share what we do together. If that sounds like a fit for your organization, please mention it when you reach out.
Request a talk
Tell me a little about your audience and what you’re hoping for. I’ll respond within two business days with availability, fit, and a proposed format.
Not sure yet? You can also download the Speaker Information PDF or email Molly directly.
Questions people ask before booking
-
Four to six weeks is the sweet spot - it gives us time to shape the talk around your audience. That said, I sometimes have shorter-notice openings, especially for virtual sessions. If your event is soon, ask anyway.
-
Every talk is shaped around the room. I start with a short call to learn about your audience…what they’re carrying, what they’ve already heard, and what you’re hoping they walk away with. The frameworks stay grounded; the stories and examples change.
-
Fees vary by format, travel, and audience size. A virtual keynote is different from a half-day in-person training. Nonprofits, hospices, and faith communities…please ask about community rates. I’m also offering reduced founding-audience rates to my first several bookings in exchange for a testimonial. I’d rather this work be in the room than priced out of it.
-
Yes, for the right fit - and I’m always available via Zoom. In-person outside of Boise/Nampa area typically includes travel costs, which we’ll agree on up front.
-
Usually yes, with a simple agreement in advance. Recording policies depend on the topic and whether personal stories are shared, so we’ll settle it before the event.
-
That’s what the request form is for - just tell me about your audience and what’s going on for them, and I’ll suggest a fit. If none of the signature talks feel quite right, I’m happy to co-design something.
Grief deserves a room that can hold it
If you’re building a program, planning an event, or trying to support a team through a hard season - I’d be honored to help.
