A successful reengagement plan must be tailored to your specific circumstances, preferences, and current capacity.

Compass Back to Community offers just that by offering a six-stage, step-by-step pathway - each stage builds on the last. These are flexible map, not rules. We will tailor pacing, practices, and goals to your life.

The Six Stage Reengagement Planning Process

  • In this phase we assess where you are currently in terms of social reengagement:

This is where we find our starting.

  • This stage is about categorizing relationships into three tiers so we know how to sequence reengagement efforts.

  • Here we access your “Social Comfort Ladder”: we grade social actives from least challenging to most challenging. We starting to build our roadmap.

  • This stage is all about what your boundaries are. What are your comfort levels with different topics, environments, and energy management.? What needs for privacy do you have? What are your time limits?

We will prepare to incorporate these needs into specific reengagemennt steps.

  • This is when we develop specific, actionable reengagement steps. Now we choose the who’s, the what’s, the duration and timing.

We will create “Success” identifiers so we focus on progress rather than outcomes.

  • We create a reflection. process to evaluate and adjust reengegment steps as we go along and for you to use into the future as needs evolve.

How we tailor the plan just for you?

1. We go at a pace built around your current energy and responsiblities

2. There are a number of ways we can meet: short checkins or regular sessions

3. Optional homework at a pace you set.

5. Collaborate with clinicians on request.
